• Hi guys,

First of all, sorry for my poor english.

I have updated my entire system includying PHP, MySQL and Apache… fixed some xmlrpc issues and so on. I have been working with wordpress fine until now.

I have installed wordpress on my server running Apache2 and when I try to setup it, I get this error message and then the installation process stops:

“Fatal error: Call to undefined function apply_filters() in /var/www/VIRTUAL_SERVER/htdocs/wordpress/wp-blog-header.php on line 90”

My platform is now Gentoo Linux (kernel 2.6.14), here are some details may help.

    dev-lang/php-5.0.5-r4 (with mod_php for Apache2)
    dev-db/mysql-5.0.15
net-www/apache-2.0.55 (with USE flag +VHOSTS enabled)

Any suggestion ? All comments about this will be appreciated.

thanks in advance, and greetings from Spain.

    P.D.:
Since wordpress is full-php5 compatible there are no reason to suspect about this, isn’t it ?
