Call to action button not working

  • Hi
    On the home page I have a call to action button that came with the theme.
    “Free initial consultation”
    But when I click on it, it doesn’t go anywhere.
    I can see the link is only to the home page but there is no where in the theme to add a URL I want the button to link to another page when the user clicks it.
    Is there a way to fix it.
    Can I just add some CSS code to it somewhere.
    The rest of the template appears to be working ok
    Just the call to action button is broken

  • Hi Ford,
    I answered this in your direct question in the Udemy course as well, but here’s the quick answer:
    You just need the Slide page to be a different page than your homepage. Since you have the same page defined as your homepage, and also as the first slide, the URL is the same for both. Create a new page called Free Consultation (with the Featured Image, and use that page as the Slide 1, instead of your homepage.
