call to action button – Icon

  • Hi!
    I`m very glad to find this great theme! Thanks a lot in advance!
    I have the Problem, that I just want to use an Iconinstead of Types in the call-to-action-button. Is this possible? The awsome Font is installed, I`ve seen… I tried the code: <i class=”fa-arrow-down”></i>.

    Hey @stinnie,

    thank you for choosing Bento!

    At the moment the CTA buttons in the header only accept plain text; in case you need HTML inside a button, the callback function for the bento_front_header_primary_cta_text option should be changed in the /includes/customizer/customizer.php theme file.

    thank you very much for the answer!! I`ve found the callback function… but what is the right code in this case, if I want to write html inside a button? Thanks a lot!

    You can use any sanitization callback that suits the needs of the particular content, e.g. wp_kses.
