Hi, I was wondering if anyone else is getting this PHP error when the checkbox is not checked.

    Call to a member function get_error_code() on a non-object

When user signing up does not check the Agreeable box, this error code shows. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    Hey!

Happy to help, just need some more info:

What form are you seeing the error on? Login, register, or comment?

What version of WP are you running?

Are you on Multisite or BuddyPress (or both)?

Any other plugins of note? Like WooCommerce, Theme My Login, etc.

    Let me know!

    Hi Buildcreate,

First let me say that this plugin blows all other T&C plugins out of the water!

Here are the answers to your questions:

What form are you seeing the error on? Login, register, or comment?
I am seeing the error on the registration form.
What version of WP are you running?
    I am running WP 3.9.2
Are you on Multisite or BuddyPress (or both)?
I am using a Multisite with 5 different sites, but only using the plugin for one site within the Multisite. No BuddyPress. For the specific site I am using Agreeable on, I am using an AppThemes theme called Vantage, which is a business directory theme.
Any other plugins of note? Like WooCommerce, Theme My Login, etc.
I am using a few plugins, but major ones include Contact Form 7, WordPress SEO by Yoast, and WPSC Support Tickets Pro.

If this does not help, please let me know. I would gladly pay to have this resolved, as other T&C plugins are horrible compared to this one. The full error states “Fatal error: Call to a member function get_error_code() on a non-object in…/themes/vantage/framework/includes/views-login.php on line 550”

Thank you so much for your help!

Thank you for the info and praise! Okay it looks like it must be a multisite issue then- I had some issues with it a couple of versions ago that were resolved, this looks like a new adventure, but I bet you anything it’s multi-site related. We’ll get it taken care of if that’s the case ??

We’re developing some premium extensions to Agreeable to add different functionality like tracking users’ agreement in the database, age verification (coming soon), etc. Check it out at Kraftpress.it. Just launched the shop, so pardon the dust!

After we get this sorted out a kind review would be a great way to show your gratitude, I really want to nail that 5 star rating ??

I updated and tried again. It lists the fail text before doing anything. On the registration form, it now says “You must agree to the CMPT Terms & Conditions” with red background above the checkbox. If I uncheck the box, it still brings up the fatal error when I submit. I think we are on the right path though. I really appreciate your help!

If possible, I can PM you the website address if it would help. I just don’t want to post it publicly yet.
