Call RSS Widget to display outside of sidebar

  • Is there any way to call the default RSS widget in my template, i.e. outside the sidebar. I want to show recent posts from my other blogs on my homepage. Appreciate it if you could post the sample code please. Thanks.

  • I would also like to know how to do this;

    I guess you’d need to use;
    <?php echo wp_widget_rss(); ?>
    or something like that in the page template but I don’t know how to give the function a specific url to get the feed from.

    I’m also interested to know if this is possible. Any help?

    I found a plugin “d4rss” in the directory that will accomplish this, but it doesn’t work for 2.3. Can anyone port it?
