I am using the Calendly inline embed on my company’s website but it doesn’t display the embedded frame on the published page and says ‘calendly refused to connect’. The embedded frame is displayed correctly in the editing and page preview.
    Using WordPress 5.9.3

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi there,

The calendar url seem to be invalid: https://calendly.com/thementorevolution

Kindly confirm the correct event URL on Calendly and replace the https://calendly.com/thementorevolution in the embed shortcode with it.

    Thank you

    Hi Shycoder,

    Thanks for your response.

I actually have this link in the embed shortcode – https://calendly.com/mondomentor/1-hour-general-discussion . It’s just that WordPress just won’t update/ save the changes on the website, despite publishing it. It looks good in the editor and preview.

Hope that explains the problem a bit more.

    Hi there,

    Thanks for the clarification.

May I know the theme and page builder you’re currently using on the website? Is Gutenberg active on the website? Also, may I know if temporarily activating another theme fixes the issue?

Apologies for any inconvenience this may be causing.

    Hi @turn2honey

I’m using WordPress 5.9.3 running Movedo theme. We use Elementor v3.6.5 ,
    Elementor Pro v3.7.1

I changed the theme to GeneratePass but it still says ‘Calendly refuses to connect’.

I don’t think we use Gutenberg.

    Hello,

If WordPress isn’t updating or saving the changes you make, this maybe due to cache problems, or an issue with your WordPress website.

Kindly contact your WordPress developer to further inspect this.

    Thank you.
