Calender choices?

How’s it going everybody? I was wondering if anyone knew how to change the calender archive so it wasn’t monthly? I want a daily archive, which I’ve seen on other sites but I’m not sure how to implement it. Do I just steal the CSS or do I have to modify the sidebar template as well? Any help would be much appreciated or you could just point me in the right direction.
