Calendars and Forums are Squished

  • Hi Shaylynn,

    On first glance it looks like you’ve put the widget in the left sidebar. This will always be narrower than the main area.

    You need to see if there is a shortcode for the calendar that you can insert into the main area of the page.

    Most themes don’t have a widget area in the main section – hence the need for a shortcode.

    Alternatively, the widget may be resizeable so you can show a small calendar in the sidebar, but since its an Events calendar, I doubt that would be what you need.

    What’s the calendar widget called?

    It seems it doesn’t get along with the theme well. I found a temporary fix, but it won’t be responsive, won’t display well for mobile devices, so you should contact them further, because it needs a bit more proper coding, I believe.

    Add this CSS code in Appearance -> Customize -> Additional CSS:

    Hey guys! I got it to work on my own… BUT… for some reason… just the event text is now off to the left side?

    IF you go to july you can see everything is normal but the text is squished to the left.
