Calendar without sidebar

Hi.
When choosing the default page to publish te calendar, my theme (or Timely) chooses a “default” template, which is a blog. This I cannot change in the actual calendar page (which IS a page, not an article).
The dropdown under the content of the page does not offer alternative templates, like a full width page. I’d prefer to have the calendar without the default sidebar.
I tried a shortcode to put in a page builder layout, but this results in a scrambled calendar navigation.
What should I do?
