• Hello Jeroen,

We are experiencing a problem with the events calendar on our homepage, in that it’s displaying the month of July with events instead of the current month. I’ve been into the admin and deleted the events, which have long since passed, but this hasn’t seemed to have solved the problem. I presumed originally that this could have been a cache issue, but multiple clearances haven’t solved the problem either. Do you know of any other reason why this might be occurring?

In order to better understand the problem:

Do you still see this when you are logged in in WordPress?

    Hi Jeroen,

It would appear not! When logged in the calendar appears correctly. Is this a known issue?

    Thanks

Yes, unfortunately it is. I don’t have a definite fix yes, but you can at least temporarily fix it like this:

    1. Install and the ‘Debug Bar’ plugin.
    2. Install the ‘Debog Bar Transients’ plugin
    3. In the admin bar, click on debug -> transients
    4. Look for a transient that starts with ‘wpt’ (first column) and has an expiration date ‘Unknown’ (third column).
    5. Delete this transient.
    6. Repeat if you find more than one.

    Hi Jeroen,

I’ve did as instructed and that’s worked. Is this process of debugging via the plugin a permanent solution or a temporary measure that we’ll need to keep an eye on for now?

    Thanks for your help.

It should be temporarily, but I’m still looking for what causes this.
