I upgraded WordPress to version 6.0 this morning. I just noticed that the event links in the EM Calendar Widget no longer work. I suspect the WP upgrade caused this because I used the calendar links about two days ago and they were working fine.

The calendar link for June 2 is https://artvallejo.org/2022-06-02/?limit Whether I click the date in the calendar or enter the link manually, it changes to https://artvallejo.org/?limit and I’m taken to the home page. I disabled all the plugins I updated this morning and the problem still occurs

I eagerly await suggestions or a patch.

    Thanks!

    More info: EM Version 5.12.1
Tried in both Chrome and Firefox
I installed your WP Safe mode plugin (col plugin). It disables the widgets so I copied a date URL from the Em Calendar widget. Pasting the https://artvallejo.org/2022-06-04/?limit URL into the browser results in the same https://artvallejo.org/?limit when in safe mode.

    Hi,

We tried and tested this with our dev site and it seems to be working fine; Are you using the calendar shortcode or Appearance > widget? do you have a sample settings for us to try?

I’m in the process of implementing Events Manager on parkwoodlib.com and I’m having the same problem with parkwoodlib.com/events-calendar where I added the shortcode. I tried resetting all settings to original and am still having the issue where the event links take me to the home page.

Turns out this happens when your events page is also your home page. I corrected it by using a different page with an events short code for the home page. Last time I tried that I had trouble with the pagination, but the shortcode pagination=1 is working now.

I fixed mine, too – I had to change my permalink structure and it works now.
