Calendar View Widget

Hello,

I have installed the Events Calendar and have added numerous events. I have added the widget to the footer of my site, but the events only appear in a list format.

I have tried using the settings page under the display tab to alter this. It gives 3 options: List; Month; Day – and no matter which one i choose, it always displays the events in list format.

How can i make the events appear in a monthly calendar view?
