Calendar view not working on mobile – change to list view?

The calendar view on a client’s website has stopped working – the events are no longer clickable/events don’t show up beneath the calendar. I can’t afford to shut down his website to do a bunch of javascript troubleshooting – the problem goes away when I switch to a default theme but not when disabling plugins, and I haven’t been able to pinpoint the issue beyond that.
The only thing I can think to do is to figure out how to switch from the calendar view to a list view either when the site is viewed on a mobile device or just from a particular screen size. Is there a snippet to make this happen? I’ve been searching the past couple of days and haven’t found anything.
Alternatively, if someone can figure out why the event links have stopped working without me having to take the site offline, that would be even more helpful!
