Calendar Tooltip, Color, End date.

  • Hi,
    some questions about the calendar in the front end:

    1. Which file should I change to show the end time in the calendar month view? And for the venue?
    2. Why does the calendar show the color of the parent category instead of the daughter category?
    3. Why do tooltips not work even if I set to TRUE in the shortcode?

    I tried to search your site but I can not make changes alone.

    1) This isn’t configurable unfortunately. Only the start time is shown. In Week/Day view it should be evident based on the position of the event.

    2) The plug-in picks the first category assigned to the event which has a colour, and uses that as the event’s colour. There is a filter which allows you to change the event’s colour: https://codex.wp-event-organiser.com/hook-eventorganiser_event_color.html

    Please note that the calendar is cached. You may need to update an event before changes become apparent.

    3) Tooltips on fullcalendar are enabled by default. There may be javascript error on your page preventing it from working(?). It’s impossible to say without seeing the site.

    Hi,

    for the color:

    I removed the color from the fathers’ catogories and I did some tests.
    If I create an event and choose a child category, the calendar correctly attributes the color of the child category.
    But if I create an event for which I only choose the parent category, the calendar erroneously shows a color of a daughter category with a different parent. In any case it would be better if it did not show any color because I deleted it.
