• I know this is a very arbitrary question, and there could be a hundred answers, but I’ve been looking for a calendar to use on a site for quite a while now and thought I’d just ask here.

After looking into the calendar plugins here and searching the net for any other options, I can’t seem to find exactly what I’m looking for.

Free or paid, I’d like an event calendar that, first of all, doesn’t include any options for bookings, event registrations, or tickets. Don’t need any of those options. I also don’t need map data.

What I do need is the ability to do a nice monthly display with the ability to do a little design as far as colors and basic layout. An event editor that lets me do text formatting and image inserts. Recurring events, of course. An ‘Upcoming Events’ widget. And hopefully the ability to allow guest event submissions with the ability to charge for those submissions (PayPal).

I’ve found various calendars that include the above options, but that also include many options I’ll never use.

Any suggestions or recommendations would be much appreciated…

    Thanks, Modelasaat.

I had tried All-In-One in the past on another site, but ended up not using it for some reason. I’ll give the free version another try on this site to check it out again.

Installed and tried the latest version of All-In-One, Modelasaat, and really like it. Very nice setup and plenty of configuration options. The only option missing is the ability to modify the cell size in the table.

I did check the addons, and there is one that allows public event entries, but there doesn’t seem to be any ability to charge a fee for adding an event (e.g. through PayPal). It would be a perfect calendar for my use if it had that option. And it seems that they charge for addons by the year?
