    Hey @slayerk,

First, thanks for the compliment. It does make a person feel good when a positive observation like that is made, so thank you very much. Recently, we have had some internal conversations about the calendar portion of the site. Without boring you with the details, the version of the calendar we are using is a little out of date, and we are not making full use of the features it offers. One example of this is the fact that the calendar itself actually supports multiple ‘views’, where as we are only making use of the ‘month view’.

There are plans to upgrade the calendar to it’s latest version, to make it internationalized, and to implement those extra views (like week and day views). This however is sitting in the queue behind some other high demand features, so truthfully, it could be a bit before you see this actually implemented. In the mean time though, you do have an option here.

We have a very popular extension called Display Options. This extension does not provide any changes to the calendar; however it does provide a few alternatives to the calendar experience all together, which usually looks better on mobile devices. With the Display Options extension, you get the ability to use a shortcode or widget to display a list of upcoming events, instead of the calendar. In addition, you get the ability to use a shortcode or widget to show a ‘featured event’ (or multiple featured events). There is also another feature, which most people seem to like a lot, that allows you to integrate the upcoming events directly into your shop experience, as if the events themselves, were products.

While these are really work-arounds to your core issue, hopefully they give you some options you can work with until we can pump out those calendar changes.

Let me know if this helps,
    Loushou
