    Hey Genkee,

    I have definitely made the calendar public. I have tested and it works elsewhere, just not with the plugin anymore.

    It’s driving me crazy:(

    as a process of elimination have you tried making a new google calendar putting that id in and seeing if that works

    What are your widget settings for the widget areas. Also, what is the shortcode you are using?

    (@justinmneal)

    Nick, please look at the 3rd screenshot that I provided. It shows my shortcode. It worked perfectly until recently.

    I don’t see your shortcode in any of the screenshots. I am talking about the one that you use to actually display it on the page.

    Hmm… that is the code on the page. I will reply as soon as i get home.

    Hi Nick,

    Here is the code that is used on the Calendar page:

    <div style="float: right; width: 345px; margin-right: 0px;">[google-calendar-events id="1" type="ajax" title="" max="15"]
    <div style="height: 41px;"></div>
    [google-calendar-events id="2" type="ajaxplusone" title="" max="15"]
    <div style="height: 41px;"></div>
    [google-calendar-events id="3" type="ajaxplustwo" title="" max="15"]

    </div>
    <div style="float: left; margin-right: 30px;"><img src="https://geoff-sykes.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/titlecal.png" alt="" /></div>
    <div style="float: left;"><img src="https://geoff-sykes.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/IMG_0646-v2.jpg" alt="" />
    <div style="width: 498px; height: 645px; overflow-y: scroll; margin-top: 25px;">
    <div style="font-size: 20px; color: #f01111;">THIS MONTH</div>
    [google-calendar-events id="1" type="list" title="" max="15"]
    <div style="font-size: 20px; color: #f01111;">FUTURE MONTHS</div>
    [google-calendar-events id="2" type="list" title="" max="15"]

    </div>
    </div>

    Try changing your shortcode to the updated version:

    [google-calendar-events id="2" type="ajaxplusone" title="" max="15"]

    to

    [gcal id="1484"]

    Hi Nick,

    I tried to use the shortcode and it still is not working:(

    It is working here for his calendar: https://justinspiringsolutions.com/geoff-sykes/gce_feed/feed-2/

    Any ideas as to what else could be the issue?

    (@nickyoung87)

    We just pushed 2.2.1 to fix some issues with the CSS/JS and the calendar ID encoding. Please try updating to that and then let me know if you are still having troubles after that.

    Thanks!

    Thread Starter justinmneal

    (@justinmneal)

    I actually updated it as soon as I saw there was one available. Unfortunately, this did not resolve anything:(

    Any other ideas? I am desperate at this point

    I would double check your settings after the update to make sure they are set correctly.

    Also, are you getting any error messages? Or what exactly is not working?

    (@robnhl)

    Once I changed the feed to be number of “years” back (1) and forward (2) the calendar started working for me. Also using the new shortcode like [gcal id=”213″].

    My advice is to create a new test feed and confirm it works. Then modify your existing feed to match it.

    @robnhl,

    Glad you got it working. Thank you for sharing your solution.
