• I am not sure what I did wrong and I am a newbie to web designing so if there is an easy way to get the regular calendar view up on the website, I’d appreciate directions. Also, if I password protect the page and give the password to others, they will be able to add events as well, correct?
    thanks

    Hi Marianne,

Create a regular page and use the shortcode [eo_fullcalendar], and that will display a calendar. There’s documentation and guides here https://docs.wp-event-organiser.com/quick-start/ should you need any help in getting things set up.

As for adding events, unless you have the FES extension, the only way to add events if via the admin. To do that the user will need a user account on your site, with a role which has the ability to edit events. You can configure which roles can do this in Settings > Event Organiser > Permissions.

This a public forum, so please do not post your e-mail address, as it’ll likely be picked up by bots which harvest e-mail addresses which are then targeted with spam.
