Calendar Not Displaying Since update

I looked at your page and I can see it gives a 301 redirect immediately. But I cannot imagine this has something to do with the plugin, because a redirect is something that is done by the webserver or another WordPress plugin that handles redirects.

You can try one of the following things to see if this solves your issue:
– Create another page in WordPress and add a calendar there to see of it works
– Use FullCalendar 4 instead of 5 (in the settings) to see if this solves the issue

Ok so I changed the Redirect Setting and I also changed it FullCalendar 5. It brought back the page with the calendar and other info on the page, but there’s nothing showing on the calendar and there’s a red label in the top left corner of the calendar that says “Bad Request”

The “Bad request” error usually means you have no access to the calendar you want to see. Did you setup a Google Project and uploaded the .json file and can you see the your calendars in the settings of this plugin?

Yes I did. Setup a Google Calendar Project, uploaded the .json file, all the info for the specific calendar we’re using including Calendar ID, Title, and the specific calendar are entered and checked off.

Any other suggestions on this matter? I even double checked to make sure all of the info I entered for the calendar and the API key were correct and they were.

If you have entered an API key under the “Public calendar settings” section, then I would advice to switch to the “Private calendar settings” and choose “Upload client secret”. Because the API key is not officially supported by Google and has proven to be a source of errors.

I’m now not seeing a place to upload the client secret .json file

You first have to remove plugin data and, if that hasn’t been done, revoke access before you can upload the secret json again.

Then you can start again setting up the plugin with the Google client secret.

Just did the whole process again, uploaded the .json file, authorized access, had the calendar ID, email, and API key put in and there’s a calendar with nothing showing on the Events page.

Okay now I can see no error, so this is different than before.

Do you use the Gutenberg block or the shortcode?

I can also see there is no calendar selected. So you probably haven’t selected a calendar in the Gutenberg block or haven’t added a calendar ID in the shortcode.

Now its showing nothing on the Events page, and I’m not able to edit anything on it. Whether it be manual WordPress editing or Elementor. I tried reuploading the client secret .json file and removing the API key and it gave me the same error.

Any other suggestions?
