Calendar left and right arrows not displaying correctly, showing up as commas

Hello,
On the product page where the calendar is displayed, the left and right arrow buttons are not showing as < or > but rather look like commas. Also, when hovering over the buttons, only half the button changes colors. I’ve attached an image link. Please advise why this is happening?
