    Hi guys !

I have some issues with the calendar in my web site.
When I load the page for first time, it seems ok but, as soon I try to navigate, the layout broke:
    – events are show with dots on the calendar,
    – the search bar doesn’t appear correctly
    – I can’t switch between the list and month view
    and some other problem

unless I reload the page every time

    thanks for your help

  • Hey @annadnx

    Thank you for reaching out.

There are a few things worth trying to figure out where the issue is coming from:

    1. You can try testing for conflicts
    2. If there is a caching plugin in place, would you mind disabling it temporarily? There could be a setting interfering in there
    3. Speaking of caching, can you head over to Events > Settings > Display and see if the “Enable the Month View Cache” setting is checked. I would recommend unchecking it to see if that helps

    Best regards,
    Geoff

    Hi,
    Thanks for your help @geoffbel
it working better if I unckeck the “Enable the Month View Cache” box. However, on mobile the calendar view is not optimize ( nothing happen when I click on the event on the month view )

Is there a way to display only the list view on mobile ?

    Cheers,

    Anna

    Hey @annadnx

    Thank you for writing back.
I am glad the setting change helped.

With that in mind, I am sorry to hear about the mobile version.
To clarify, this is not normal behavior.

Can I ask what you are using for caching? Depending on the plugin, you might have to tweak a few options or add exceptions.

Additionally, by looking at the Google Chrome console, I am noticing some jQuery errors which are definitely not helping.

In fact, it would definitely be worth your while to identify what is causing them.
It could be due to a conflict (theme or plugin) or simply due to the WordPress version (as per the following article).

Either way, let us know what you find ??

    Cheers,
    Geoff
