Calendar is messed up

    I just noticed tonight that the calendar is messed up. On the homepage, Upcoming Events is starting with January, instead of today’s date.
    When going to the calendar page, I don’t know what’s going on:

    I updated everything in WordPress (plugins, WP version, theme) but that didn’t do anything.

    I handle the website and don’t do day-to-day updates. But the event entries looked ok.

    Any idea what could be happening here? Thanks! Vicki

    Ah! I looked a bit closer at some events. I’d looked at one that had a twin with the same name — one was done correctly, the other not. Now, looking at the one that was not done correctly … Whoever set up these events, the End Date/time was set to a date some years later. They didn’t understand how recurrence works.

    Correcting the end dates did fix the problem! The Upcoming Events on the homepage are also being listed correctly now.
