Calendar in the our cars page

  • 1st) In the our-car page there is a calendar in that calendar how can we disable the Friday column like we disabled the Friday column in form calendar.

    2nd) If a user select pickup date so the drop off date should be of after 2 days like If the user is booking for the pick-up date of 23rd May how can the calendar automatically show the drop off date of 26th May?

    Thanks for your message. The page “/our-cars” is a page generated through a Shortcode of VikRentCar of type “Cars List”. Instead, the link you posted in your message is an automatically generated link to the “Car Details” page showing the vehicle with ID 6. In your example, such URLs could be automatically rewritten into a friendly format if you had a Shortcode of type “Car Details” linked to the vehicle with ID 6. This was mainly to highlight the difference between the “Cars List” and “Car Details” pages.

    The link you shared for the “Car Details” page allows to book that exact vehicle (“Hyundai Accent or Similar”). The booking form will apply all booking restrictions defined in the wp-admin section that affect this car. This is how you can disable certain week-days for pick up and/or drop off, and how you can optionally define a minimum rental period expressed in days, which will determine the populated drop off date upon selecting the pick up date.

    I just Sent the link of one car for the reference in previous message , the calendar is same for all the cars. I have attached the screenshot of the calendar i’m refering to is in all the car pages to select the date but the fridays slots are not blured though i have restricted the fridays slots. Is I selecting friday from the calendar,the date is showing up in the form below.

    My second point is if someone selects 20 may the drop off automatically selects 22nd of may but after making minimum rental days to 2 it is not working

    Hello,

    The datepicker calendars if the “Car Details” page may act differently from one vehicle to another, because of the various booking restrictions defined at car-level.

    By visiting the previous URL we can see that Friday, May 24th and May 31st are disabled in both datepicker calendars for pick up and drop off. This is probably due to some booking restrictions defined in the wp-admin section.

    If you are referring to the fact that clicking such dates is still allowed through the above availability calendars, and not through the datepicker calendars, then we invite you to get in touch with our technical assistance team through our websites so that we can provide a solution for both the free version and the paid (Pro/commercial) version of VikRentCar.
