Calendar ID format?

My calendar ID is not in the format specified in the admin settings, but is simply my email address. Hence, I get an error when trying to display, saying verify my calendar ID.
instead of [email protected]
my ID is
[email protected]Is there a workaround?
How can I convert my ID to the expected format?thx,
