Calendar Embed breaks after WordPress upgrade

Hello,

I had this shortcode on my calendar page:

[ai1ec view=”agenda” exact_date=”9-01-2016″]

Before, when I put this on the calendar page it would display the calendar after this date. Now what happens is it is showing 2 calendars on top of each other. So i see the embed one then I see the default plugin calendar. The Default plugin calendar works fine, but the embedded calendar looks weird. I also added the embed calendar to another page, and it looks weird as well. What is happening is it is adding extra br tags and extra paragraphs in the drop down.
