Calendar details not loading

additionally, the events do not appear on the calendar — only in the admin panel.

Everything works fine on the test site: https://testonly2.valleyparent.org.

I did use Weaver 2.2.2 on the live site and 2010 Weaver on the test site.

Try this fix.

Thank you, Eran, for your prompt reply. I checked the other thread and made the changes to the Java files. The problem is still happening when I have the website as HTTP and admin as HTTPS. I thought it was the WordPress HTTPS plugin but even after deactivating that but setting “define(‘FORCE_SSL_ADMIN’, true);” The event still does not load.

Events load when all (admin & website) are SSL or all open. But not when I want Admin SSL and website (except for some forms pages) as open.

I really like your plugin for our calendar and hope I can get all the features we need to work together. Can offer any other suggestions?

I recommend disabling all other plugins and see if the conflict is theme related. If the calendar works, then add one plugin at a time and see when it stops working.

The scenario that seems to be a problem is when the administration is HTTPS and the page from which the event is clicked is HTTP. When everything is HTTPS or HTTP the event loading works fine.

I’m afraid I don’t have any insight into how to address the HTTP/S conflict. I appreciate your feedback and will put this in the TODO list of things to investigate. If in the interim you discover a solution, please post it in the forum.

Hi Eran,

I am having a similar problem, however, only in IE8 and IE7. The problem is when loading the add / edit event panel. It displays the loading event information, but, then doesn’t display the form. This works fine in Firefox and in IE9.

I did already try the javascript hack and that didn’t make a change.

I have already tried disabling other plugins and themes, doesn’t seem to help.

The javascript console does not have any errors.

Please let me know if you find anything out on this.

So I looked at your site, but then realized that I don’t have a way to test the problem, since I have IE9, FF5 and Chrome on my computer.
Can you make a screencast of the process using IE7/8 and send it to me?

Actually if you view the site in IE9’s compatibility mode, it does the same. I have IE9 as well.

Actually, there’s no need, I was able to replicate the problem locally.
I’ll let you know when I make progress on this fix.

I resolved the IE8 rendering issue, but IE7 admin doesn’t want to budge – conversely the display of the event detail works fine in IE7, so I’m betting it’s a form related issue – I don’t plan on working on this too much longer for this release, so if anyone else has suggestions, please voice them here.
