    Hello,

First I have to say that your plugin is great!
I installed it and was using it fine with a sidebar. One of the advantages was the possibility of browsing through the events by the default calendar and event pages.

However, since I installed another plugin (Testimonials Widget), there is a problem.

The pages aren’t showing. Everytime I try to reach them, I get the 404 error.

I already went through the custom URL FAQ and regenerated the permalinks, but the problem persists.

Can you imagine what can I do to solve this?

    Thanks in advance!

    Dayal

    Hey dayalmb,
First of all, thanks for your confidence in Chronosly plugin.

Having said that, we must say that we don’t usually offer support for external plugins, even more if you are using Lite version. Check support policy.

Anyway, in those cases, if Chronosly is running properly without that other plugin installed, we always ask our clients contacting plugin provider (Testimonials Widget). Perhaps they know better what is causing that misfunction.

However, we will forward this matter to our Dev. Dept. and perhaps they have any clue.

    Yours sincerely,
    Chronosly Team

    Thanks, Heimsveld iPBN

However, I disactivated and deleted the other plugin (Testimonials Widget), reseted the permalinks and still get the same error.

Is there anything else I can do other than listed in the custom URL FAQ?

    Thank you.

    Correction:
I deactivated Testimonials Widget plugin and set the following fields of URL Chronosly configuration as empty:

    Main event list url

    Calendar url

Then I reseted the permalinks and Chronosly came back to normal behavior.

It is definitely an incompatibility problem between Chronosly and Testimonials Widget plugin.

I’m sorry to flood this thread with so many posts, but as I’m discovering new info, I’m posting it here to clarify the situation.

After setting ‘Main event list url’ and ‘Calendar url’ parameters as empty, and now with the ‘Testimonials Widget’ plugin activated, I don’t get 404 error anymore when I try to access calendar and event list archive pages.
Instead, whenever I navigate towards the calendar/event list or add shortcode with calendar/event list, I go to an archive page with all the post types shown together.

    Thank you for understanding.

    Hey dayalmb,

That’s a good news about no more 404 errors.

    About your new question:

“whenever I navigate towards the calendar/event list or add shortcode with calendar/event list, I go to an archive page with all the post types shown together.

Might you send us admin access an a URL where we could se that issue?

    Thanks in advance.

    Heimsveld,

The Testimonials Plugin support team just solved the issue.
Apparently, the problem was caused by checking the option “Enable archives view?” in the “Post Type” tab of Testimonials settings.

Thank you for your patience and sorry for the trouble!

(I’ve got another Chronosly issue now, I’ll contact via form)
