Hello, the cost calculator broke totally after update from 3.1.46 to 3.2.14. I can see in your changelog there have been a lot of updates lately. I can’t see where it mentions the loading circle just keeps revolving and never loads anything. Also when I go to the saved calculator that I am using and I can see the fields there, but when I preview only the html text shows up, all the fields are gone. Thankfully I use updraft and was able to roll back all my plugins including this one. It does work with my theme at newest version and wordpress at 6.5.5. I don’t want to let it get too far behind though so hope you have a fix soon. I should note that google inspect console is still showing a major error even though it appears to work. This same error was showing up before I rolled it back. the links in this error all point to the cost calculator plugin folder. In case it matters I am using the divi theme.

    Hello,

Thank you for reaching out, sorry for the late reply

Currently the latest version of the plugin is 3.2.16. The 3.1.46 version is very outdated it was back in August 30, 2023. Note that jumping from very old plugin version could bring some unexpected issues.

I recommend you update plugin every time when we provide newer version. After the update, I recommend you create a new form and test it by embedding to a new testing page. The latest version of the plugin doesn’t include restrictions and it is loading properly on our users’ live sites and on our testing environments as well.

    Best regards

Ok so the fix is to write down all the settings for the calculation I am currently doing. and then update the plugin and then remake that calculation from scratch again in order for it to work. I can do that if I know ahead of time that I have to redo the formula. I am also wondering if it was partly a caching issue from the old version of the plugin to the new.

You are correct, the case could be due to caching tools as well. For testing purposes, you can create new sample calculator form and check again

    Best regards
