I have two categories of products on my site (clothing and vinyl). I configured flexible shipping so that it calculates the shipping costs according to the weight and a country. The calculation in the cart works fine for products in the “clothing” category but the shipping costs are not added when you multiply the “vinyl” products in the cart. Even if I have 10 vinyls in the cart, the shipping costs remain at the lowest (my first level). I don’t understand where the problem comes from.
    Thank you

As we haven’t got any replies, I’m marking this topic as resolved for now.

I am reading all these topics to see if I can find a solution for my case but it seems like all you guys are asking is a screenshot and version of the wordpress and settings that are done.
our problems usually are very simple and if you had the answer you could just give us the solution.
your plugin combines the items and gives only one shipping cost instead of adding to each other. question, how it can be solved?
    example:
1- customer chooses the color, size, quantity (the quantity is a variable: 10-20-100-500) and it has to say sold individually because it cant be 1 and 2 (imaging it’s business cards that come in big quantities)
2- item is added to card, shipping shows $13
3- customer is adding flyer to the shopping card (with same type of variables) sipping cost is $20
4- now there are two items in shopping card , a $20 + $13 – the cost should be $33 but your plugin shows $20
so, how this can be fixed?
I checked the pro version where it says you can have multiply packages but it seems like that’s only for shipping to different addresses.
another issue, sometimes there are items (lets say 5000 booklets that will be divided into 6 boxes and each box is 30 lb) what is the solution for that?
even on the pro version i don’t see that option. 6×30 is 180lb which is not possible to combine as UPS does not go above 150lb. so there should be a solution to divide them into small pieces. and that’s for each item not for a group of product or category of shipping class. it needs to be for variations.
do you have any solution for these issues?
