Calculation for services (price and time spent)

Hello!

It is possible but i don’t have a form demo that already do this so it is hard to explain. I will work in creating one so it is easier for you to see how this can be done =).

It might take me a few days though since now that i checked some cleaning calculators online it gave me a few ideas for new fields and features =). Thank you very much. Honestly, I didn’t expect a quick and specific answer. This made my day.

I looked at the demo. As a starting point, it’s not bad. I have one complaint right away about the time calculation. The result is appropriate for the price. It’s not appropriate for the time. When they have Estimated Cleaning Time: 6.88 hours, it’s actually 7 hours and 28 minutes. There are 60 minutes in an hour, not 100 minutes. So the formula for the total amount should be adjusted for hours and minutes.

Whatever you choose for the demo will be fine. The only important thing is that radio buttons (for yes or no) and check boxes (for options) are included here. I avoid drop-down menus. That’s anything but practical. They are suitable for desktop but are a disaster for mobile devices (smartphones), especially if we have a drop-down menu with, for example, more than 10 items.

I see, the total hour thing will be done with formulas so it can be customized however you want. The demo form will have mostly the same fields that the one i sent you on the link (including the dropdowns) but you can change them to radio button or any other field if you want. Also if the demo form differ too much to what you envision (or you have another idea of how to do it) you can create another support thread here with your suggestion and I can create another demo form for that. The more demo forms the better =).

This form will take me some time to do as i am adding some stuff that will make it easier to build and understand(technically i could build it already with a bunch of hidden fields or long formulas but that is what i am trying to avoid) but the demo form along with a detailed guide of how i build it should be ready this week.

I worked hard until I made a few designs. In Forminator and Contact Form 7. If I can add icons to some of the fields, that would be fantastic. I can already imagine what the result will look like.

Logically, I’m thinking about switching to AIO Forms. Why use 3 email form plugins when I can get AIO?!

Sure, it depends on the field but many of them have a way to add icons, for example the text box field has an icon setting that let you add icons in it

This will open a pop up where you can select either from a list of already added icons or you can add your own image if you want

What I first saw left me almost speechless. Incredible, unsurpassed, beyond all my expectations.

Then I created a QR Code (idea to add to rednao website with demo forms) and visited the page through a smartphone. Fantastic. You managed to differentiate the appearance and behavior of the drop-down menu so that it is fully functional on desktop and mobile browsers. You still managed to do it!

Calculation of price and time spent for each field – outstanding. The form is not impersonal and unfinished. Interesting design. Fully functional.

I looked at the formulas. I didn’t dwell on it much. I really don’t have time right now. I’m finishing a project. In seven days I will start with AIO Forms.
