• Hi,

Just installed your plugin for a new site I am working on and I would like to know if I can implement a base rate and then an incremental increase per kg.

I will have 10 different shipping “Zones” and they are all different, so basically as an example, I need to charge a base rate of say $5.00 which is the cost of the first kilogram and then an extra $1.50 for each and every KG over that.

I thought about just using the Handling fee to cover the base rate, but all 10 are different and over quite a large spread, plus the increments also vary quite a lot from zone to zone.

Is it possible and if so how do I do it ???

    Kindest Regards

I finally figured it all out, there is no easy way to do it, but below is what you have to do. It is based on what I was supplied by Thai Post, countries are grouped and then a price is given for the appropriate weight, it looks like this.

I have ten country “Groups” and 20 prices for each group.

The first number is the weight in kilograms, the second is the price, (in my case US$) and the last number is the group it applies to. You will have to create this for every weight and country/state group.

    1|15.50|1
    2|18.60|1
    3|21.60|1
    4|24.70|1
    5|27.80|1

It is a long winded time consuming process, but it is all that works.
