    Hello,

I used your plugin + “Discount Rules and Dynamic Pricing for WooCommerce”.

While applying a promotional (like purchase product A receive product B for free), on the cart we have 2 products:
    – 1 with cost
    – 1 for free

In this scenario it should consider the prices of only 1 product, but it’s calculating both.

I asume that it’s taking the prices of the product’s to preforme calculation, but it should calculate the prices based on the subtotal of the order.

Please can you tell me how to adjust this?

    Thanks in advance

    Hi @skus,
    Thank you for your patience.

From your description, I assume that you are referring to the functionality included in the Discount Rules and Dynamic Pricing for WooCommerce plugin as our plugin does not allow you to create promotions for products.

If so, please contact the creators of the Discount Rules and Dynamic Pricing for the WooCommerce plugin directly.

The Table Rate plugin allows you to add shipping methods that calculate the shipping costs based on weight and/or cart total.

    Regards,

    Hi @wojtekpyrgies

I’ve try as you say but the issue it’s with your plugin, let me explain.

The plugin “Discount Rules and Dynamic Pricing for WooCommerce” gives different rules for products like:

    • Purchase product A, receive product B (for free).

I have 1 promotion like this:

    • Purchase product A ($15) & receive product B ($10) for free

So, the subtotal for this order is $15 instead of $35.

On the other hand, with your plugin I manage shipping cost (based on amount purchased) like this:

    • From $0 to $19 shipping cost: $5
    • From $20 to $90 shipping cost: $3
Here is where the issue apear.

While purchasing the promotion I’ve mention, the shipping cost should be $5 cause the subtotal for this order is $15, but the shipping cost amout is $3.
This makes me think that the calculation it’s made based on the product prices instead of the subtotal amount.

    Please, I need help.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi @skus,

Thank you for clarifying. I’m afraid that calculating the shipping cost based on the subtotal price is not available in our Flexible Shipping plugin by default at the moment. However, I believe that the scenario, you’ve described should be possible to achieve with some custom coding. We’ve provided the Flexible Shipping plugin users with a set of hooks which can be used to customize the way the shipping cost is calculated and fully adjust the plugin to work as they need to. Here’s a list of all available hooks:

    https://octolize.com/docs/article/flexible-shipping-hooks/

I believe that using the flexible-shipping/condition/contents_value to change the calculation to be based on the order subtotal should do the job in your case.

    Kind regards,
    Luke

Since there are no further inquiries concerning this case, I’m marking this thread as resolved.

Buonasera, quindi cosa dovremmo fare nello specifico? Ho lo stesso problema
