Calculated tax % wrong

OK, for anyone running into this bug: I found that this happens when on Downloads > Settings > Taxes tab, there is one (or more) country/region tax rates set up. Clearing all will fix this.

The bug here is that taxamo extension does not replace but adds to EDD’s own tax calculations. The visual effect is incorrect VAT and totals in the cart while real life effect is that buyers from the region/country (defined there on the Downloads > Settings > Taxes tab) will be charged double taxes!

So in the second example from my original post, the buyer is finally charged 10.00 + 2.00 + 2.40 = 14.40 !!

As you can understand, I’ve had more than one customer that abandoned the checkout after seeing an almost 50% increase in respect to the original “without VAT” price.
