    Good day

I would just like to find out if the plugin has the functionality to calculate the shipping cost based on delivery location as well as the weight of the package?

    Thank you

    Hello @mishlaub

Of-course factors as the Origin and Destination Address, dimensions and weight of the parcel determine the amount.

The plugin simply connects to your account with us and gets the rates from the account.
That said, how you are billed is dependent on the rate type you signed when opening an account with us.

Thank you so much for your reply.

I just have a few more questions regarding the setup please:

Regarding the Parcel Sizes. Can we only specify 3 standard parcel sizes? Or will each Products have its own size?
We would probably be able to get away with more or less 6 standard parcel sizes. But 3 will be very limiting.
Will it be possible for our Combo Specials to be specified as 2 or 3 parcels with fixed parcel sizes? As these Combo’s may consits of 6 to 11 individual items but are grouped together as 3 parcels when packed.
If more parcel sizes are NOT available, would it be possible to use the Price Rate Override per Service and how does it work. (Item highlighted in green below.) Or what is the Price Rate Override used for?

Can you give an example of what is meant by Generic Waybill Description. Would it be something like the name of the product printed on each waybill, instead of a list of items as per the order?

    Thank you

    Hi @mishlaub,

    1. Products will be calculated to fit into the best-fit parcel sizes.
    2. A the moment only 3 parcel sizes are supported.
    3. The price rate override per service (e.g. ECO) is used to specify a specific price which will be shown to the end-user.
    4. Generic Waybill Description will replace the product name on WayBill with a generic description. This useful when the merchant is concerned about the privacy of the buyer.
