    Hi Damian,

Everything looks okay on our end. Perhaps you have another script on your page that is interfering with the calculator plugin. Try disabling any other scripts and see if that helps.

I disabled all other plugins and the issue remained. I believe it’s a problem somewhere between the theme and new versions of wordpress and new versions of the plugin. The theme hasn’t been updated in over a year. Is it possible to supply old versions of the plugin so I can try with them? It used to work fine. Not sure whether the problem came after an update to wordpress or update to your plugin or a combination of the two. the theme is silverorchid

Can you please post a link to the page? This will help us determine the source of the problem.

    Thanks!

The site is gizbeat.com . I really hate to leave broken widgets in the sidebar… But I’m going to bed now, I’ll just pretend like it was a bad dream. It worked with other themes. It used to work fine with the current theme with the old version of calc/wordpress, but don’t know whether it was new calc, new wordpress or combination of the 2 that broke it.

If you could supply old version of calc… say 3 months old or so with ppi calculator, that would be good.

    Damian,
There is no “old version” of our calculators; we have not changed them.

After examining your website it appears that the problem may possibly be stemming from the use of the CloudFlare plugin in conjunction with our calculator. Could you check and verify whether you still have the problem with this plugin disabled?

I just now disabled cloudflare and purged the cache and hard refreshed the browser. same result with gizbeat. It works with another theme installed, so I don’t think it’s cloudflare. It used to work fine with the current theme. Maybe it’s some clash with the current theme and new version of wordpress. The theme hasn’t been updated since Jan 2013.

    Damian,

Try recopying the embed code from our site and then make sure that in the script tag, data-cfasync=”false” and make sure type=”text/javascript”. (NOT text/rocketscript) Does that help?

Hi, you mean the embed shortcode, correct? I copied it from backend in calculator pro settings.

    Where is the data-cfa…script located?

    thanks for the time

    Hi Damian,

    No problem!

The parameters I mentioned should be in the tag that contains the CalculatorPro min.js script.

But where do i find the tag with the calculatorpro min.js script. Is that something on my server?

Damian, it should be part of the shortcode.

    Damian wrote:

It was working fine in a Tiny MCE, but when I post the shortcode in a page, it doesn’t show at all and seems to corrupt the page. I do have Cloudflare engaged through cpanel and WP-Super Cache installed, but it was working fine previously in the same situation, but in a widget.

    Any ideas? Thanks

Damian, can you try disabling Cloudflare?
