    Pretty simple woocommerce site with 4 pages in main navigation — using Hummingbird and CloudFlare.

    Once everything was setup navigating between the 4 main pages was instantaneous. Amazing! Absolutely love it.

    Then I noticed a typo on one of the main pages and edited that page. That page is no longer cached and loads so much slower than the other 3 unedited pages.

    How to I re-cache the page I edited?

    Update: I edited a second of my 4 cached pages — and now it loads slow as well.

    So the cache is not regenerating for paged I edit.

    What is the best way to handle this?

    I hope you’re well today!

    The cache should actually regenerate automatically if it was cleared – regardless of whether it was purged manually or automatically upon content update.

    If it doesn’t do this:

    1. do you have CloudFlare connected to Hummingbird? If not, please do connect it as described here

    2. if it’s already connected, try simply clearing cache again by clicking on “Clear cache” button on “Hummmingbird -> Dashboard” page (specifically there, not other place)

    Then browse site around for a while as a logged-out user (a guest/visitor) and it should rebuild the cache.

    I’d also recommend, for future reference, to enable the “Preloading cache” option in Page Cache settings. Normally, Hummingbird creates cached version of a page only after the page is visited for the first time. With this option enabled it works the same except for homepage and pages that were updated/edited – for those the cache would be regenerated instantly, without waiting for the “first visit” after they are edited.

    It should solve the issue but if it doesn’t help, let us know here, please.
