Caching with Forums

I’d like to use the Simple Press forum plugin and they suggest excluding the forum page from caching. Is this a simple matter of changing the setting under Advanced>Accepted Filenames & Rejected URIs by checking the Pages (is_page), or is there someplace I can put in the specific page like “mysite.com/forum”?
