    Hi guys,
    I am running a wordpress multisite network and I want to use the best caching plugin which doesn’t cause trouble in .htaccess
    i have tried some before but as they add codes to .htaccess, my site won’t work properly for users

    any recommendations?

  • I don’t know… Maybe cache enabler might work for you but I just use W3 Total Cache on my multisites… Works fine for me.

    Another option for you might be to forget caching on the site and encourage every site to run CloudFlare instead but the cache might be needed to make the performance good enough to keep up with CloudFlare’s free tier.

    Else, you might get hit with a lot of 500 errors from CloudFlare.

    One other possibility for down the road is to put a Nginx proxy (or a Varnish Nginx lashup) in front of your multisite… that might give you something to dream about for a while and really take a load off the multisite when you build it.

    @jnashhawkins How can Put Nginx proxy (or a Varnish Nginx lashup)?
