Caching Not Working

I have been trying all different things to get the plugin to pull down data and changes from Facebook. The feed is showing but it does not refresh unless I manually clear the cache in the plugin. I have tried 5 minutes, 2 hours, 1 day etc with no success unless I do it manually.
I have the premium plugin

Thanks for reaching out regarding this issue.
Please note that the Easy Social Feed plugin uses WP Cache (WPCron) that’s not always 100% accurate as opposed to a traditional cron job because it relies on website traffic/visits.

The best way to handle this situation is to replace WPCron with a system cron. Here’s a very nice write-up to replace WP Cron with a system cron job:

If you are unable to figure it out yourself. Please contact your web hosting support. They will enable the SystemCron for you on the site which will be accurate.
