I placed a “?” in the topic title because I do not know if the pages the plugin counted are actually cached or not.

I set the plugin to cache all my pages on the website. It counted them and lists it as 26 pages. It took some time for it to show “1” page was cached, that was several hours ago.

It still shows as “1” page cached of 26, and refreshing the cache page made no difference.

I did a performance retest (after several hours of caching) and I lost 1 performance point, and the cache page still shows only 1 page cached.

Is this actually caching and not registering the count or is it not working and stuck on only 1 page cached? – What am I missing if it is working?

Ok, I thought of something. I used a different browser (not logged into my WordPress site) and visited 9 more pages. I rechecked the cache page of the plugin and now it shows 10 pages cached. So this caching is performed only when someone visits the page.

This leads me to ask a different question,

“Does the plugin cache the page 1x for everyone after the first visitor attends that page? – or does it re-cache it for each visitor?”

    Thanks

    Hi @mwarbinek,

Once a user visits a page, a cached version is generated. It will be served to all the next visitors.

    Best regards,
    Anton
