    Jose,

We are thrilled to find your plugin, and we do not know why themes have not done this on their own earlier! It is absolutely essential to be able to have a smaller, lighter mobile page, but at the same URL!

We would gladly PAY for your plugin if it could truly work for us.

After a great deal of work and testing, we find that this plugin does not work for us with Divi theme and WP-Rocket caching, which is a very very common combination.

Our home page works fine with your plugin, although at times we have to re-save our file because the cache gets all out of whack either on desktop or mobile.

    Our home page works: ojaya.com

However, we could not get our Course Info page to work:
    ojaya.com/deep-meditation-course

We could get either the desktop version or the mobile version to look correct, but not both at the same time, so we had to delete mobile version.

As we said, if you can make this work, we would PAY for your plugin gladly. It is much needed. We hope you can fix this, not only for us, but for countless thousands of WordPress users who need separate caching for mobile. We are astounded that WordPress themes have not already addressed this highly important function in today’s mobile world. Please keep up the work, and we will await your earliest reply.

    Thank you!
    Lucas

    Hi @wordpressdharma

it looks the problem you have described is related to the cache.

Specific Content For Mobile does nothing else than replacing the content with the mobile version content when the user visits the page with a mobile device but has no control over the cache.

The problem is probably caused by WP Rocket or its settings. The different cache between mobile and desktop is not under the control of Specific Content for Mobile, but under the control of the system, you are using for the cache.

On my side, I can’t do anything to control the cache. This plugin doesn’t give cache functionalities. When you use it, you have to be sure the cache system distinguish between desktop and mobile.

W3 Total Cache for example gives no problems.

I suggest you ask WP Rocket.

Just to avoid misunderstandings, for SCFM “mobile” means both phones and tablets.
It uses a WordPress core function that considers tablets mobile devices.

I’m on holiday until 31 August, so I may not answer right away.
