    Hello,

    I recently created a multisite with subdirectories and the structure is as follows.

    /var/www/example.com/htdocs/ -> Origianl Website
    /var/www/example.com/htdocs/en/ -> Multisite

    I want to enable Total Cache on both sites, but the /en folder on the multisite is in a subfolder of the original site.

    In this case, should I exclude the /en folder from the original site’s total cache?

    Or can I just leave it enabled on each? The two sites are not networked and work separately.

    Thank you.

    Hello @seotaro

    Thank you for reaching out and I am happy to answer.

    In this case, you should have W3TC installations on both sites separately in order to utilize W3 Total Cache on both of them.

    So yes, you should leave W3 Total Cache enabled on each website.

    Thanks!

    Hi, @vmarko

    Thank you for your response.

    Is it not necessary to throw a caching exception for /en/ paths in Total Cache enabled on the original site?

    Hello @seotaro

    Thank you for your feedback.

    Since its a separate installation, there is no need to add an exception.

    Thanks!
