Caching a specific post type

Just wondering if it’s possible to create an exception so the plugin doesn’t cache posts of a particular type, but still caches categories of that type, and posts of other types?

I want to not cache “product” but I do want to cache “product-category”.

If I set it to exclude “posts”, this doesn’t seem to exclude products. If I set it to exclude everything “starting with” product, then it also excludes product-category which starts the same.

Any way round this, or do I have to change all my URLs (e.g. to make product-category just “category” or something)?
