Yes, WordPress cache on default the feeds and refresh after 12h.

Alternative you can change this, see https://wpengineer.com/1820/feed-cache-in-wordpress/

    Frank:

Thanks for your quick rely. So, that’s awesome that it’s built in to WP and I can change it.

Two questions, if i can bug you once more:

    1) I use WP Super Cache. Does this have any bearing on all this? (In my case, I’m concerned about not taxing the RSS source, rather than trying to keep a fresh copy — in fact, I’ll set feed to 24 hours from 12)

    2) Is there a way to have the page with the feeds updated at a particular time each day, without waiting for a user to request the page? I have quite a few feeds on it and would like to avoid having that one person who requests the page right after caching expires, having to wait 30 seconds for the page to grab all the feeds.
