Cached pages showing to logged in users even though “Don’t show” is on.

  • Hi all,

    I have “Don’t show the cached version for logged-in users” enabled but logged in users are being shown cached pages.

    I use Ultimate member, but I don’t know if that’s a problem.

    When someone logs in they are still shown ‘login’ links.

    If I CTRL-F5 the page they are shown as logged in then on that one page – other pages show logged out.

    When they log out, and back in again, the problem starts all over again.

    I have delete cache many times.

    Any help very much appreciated,

    is the login url /wp-login.php or another url?

    Hi Emre,

    Thanks for the reply.

    It is “/login”, not “/wp-login”.

    In Ultimate Member settings, you choose a page for logout.
    (Ultimate Member > Settings > Setup)

    No, I’d already tried excluding /login and clearing cache a few days ago.

    If I turn off WP Fastest Cache it all works OK, but of course I lose the benefits of your great plugin.

    Hi @emrevona,
    After having a bit of a think, I decided to get rid of Ultimate Member, as the benefits of your plugin would be better than using the Ultimate Member plugin.
    So, I got rid of it.
    Unfortunately, the problem still remains. ?? And I’m really not sure why, but maybe the problem isn’t Ultimate Member as we thought.

    Hi @emrevona,

    My hosting company think they have pinpointed the problem.
    The issue is with pages served by the WPBakery Page Builder plugin.
    Excluding these pages in your plugin makes things work as they should, but I use Page Builder to easily create all my pages.
