• Hi,

For some reason the Cache Tester doesn’t seem to be working and is saying at the top of the page ‘SSL connect error’ every time I try it, followed by this for my website:

Fetching https://www.sammyhayes.co.uk/ to prime cache: OK

Fetching first copy of https://www.sammyhayes.co.uk/: FAILED

Fetching second copy of https://www.sammyhayes.co.uk/: FAILED

One or more page requests failed:

The pages do not match! Timestamps differ or were not found!

My website is secured using a free universal SSL certificate by CloudFlare and I’ve had no problems elsewhere until this. I also believe that the cache plugin is working for the site, but the tester is failing and I obviously want to make sure everything’s okay…

    Any ideas?

  • bump.

I have exactly the same circumstances and errors. Using cloudflare now, but had my own SSL before and the cache test failed with these errors. Cache times match when I check manually.

Do you might have CloudFlare’s minify HTML option enabled? That option strips comments from the HTML source, and so WP Super Cache timestamps cannot be found then.
