    I’d like to keep the cache under control. I’ve used a Diff Checker to look at my pages. I can see that the ‘Email Address Encoder‘ plugin creates a different hex code every time the page is loaded… but it doesn’t use JavaScript so not sure how to exclude it?

    I’m also using Meta Slider (Responsive Slides), and of course the pictures change. Would it be a good idea to exclude the JavaScript? I believe it’s wp-content/plugins/ml-slider/assets/sliders/responsiveslides/responsiveslides.min.js?ver=3.1.1 and I’d just have to exclude responsiveslides.min.js but I’m not entirely clear how to check that I have all the ‘offending’ JavaScripts.

    Many thanks for any help. And great plugin by the way.

    Neither would require exclusion at first sight Lindsay. Do you have a URL on which I could have a look at your site?

    Yes, that’s very kind. One site I’m using it on is https://pembrokeshirefarmbandb.co.uk

    Many thanks, Lindsay

    Hi Lindsay;
    Did some quick comparisons (so this might not be exhaustive), but I would start by adding “WPCOM” and “metaslider_” to the comma-seperated JS exclusion-list.

    Hope this helps,

    Many thanks for your help. I will give that a try. I’ll also add WPCOM to my other site where I’m currently using autoptimize as I guess that’s a generic WP js so may be affecting that one too.

    I think WPCOM is part of (one of the sub-modules of) JetPack. It’s not generic WP anyway ??

    Just an update on this if useful… I am indeed using JP Sharing (which is just the Sharing module from Jetpack) and I’ve been checking for a few days and the cache size is staying static. Which is good ??

    Thanks for the update Lindsay, have a nice weekend!
