Cache purges frequently

    Hi,

    (don’t be scared of our domain (it’s a women’s health web site)

    Litespeed seem to purge the cache too frequently. I enabled logs and I’m seeing entries like this:

    Unfortunately, I’m not sure what this is telling me. Any idea why it would purge almost daily? (despite being set to purge weekly)

    the UCSS generation is async background task , when an UCSS is generated and pushed to site, site will purge this relevant page to insert the UCSS into it on next visit.

    once all UCSS are done , you won’t see this kind of purge anymore.

    I have regenerated all the css (it takes several hours), but i still see these messages in the purge log. When i visit product pages i often get a cache miss, despite having run all the crawls and built the cache.

    What could be causing that?

    I even ran the crawlers twice (successfully) to be sure none were missed. How do i tell which pages are not caching properly from this?

    About 2600 according to the site map.

    the page is caching as it should , it just gets purged when UCSS comes in , then it will be cached again with UCSS inserted

    because it could have varies

    you can get it in toolbox -> report -> click “send to LiteSpeed”

    varies are like same page but under different environment , for example one page can have different vary like

    desktop + no webp + normal mode

    desktop + webp + normal mode

    mobile + webp + normal mode

    mobile + no webp + normal mode

    desktop + no webp + guest mode

    desktop + webp + guest mode

    mobile + webp + guest mode

    mobile + no webp + guest mode

    so with your set up , you will have 8 varies per page

    There is a crawler for each of these variations, so wouldn’t it have crawled and cached each of them if it completes a crawl?

    ideally yes , but there is some conditions , like during the crawler , you did something on the admin area , saying plugin upgrade , publish/edit post …etc that could purge cache , which could stop and reset crawler.
