Cache Purge, WP Admin Bar issue
-
First of all, thanks to the creators of this great plugin that helps to get the excellent TTFB across the globe even on a free Cloudflare plan. It’s an incredible utility from you guys.
So, I have used it for multiple clients in recent months and never took a closer look at the little bugs.
For the last 2 days, I am actively using it on my project and noticed a few bugs that I would like to get fixed or to know more about.
No WP Admin Bar despite being logged-in
As a logged-in WP-Admin User, if I open any article from my WP Dashboard, even if it has ?swcfpc=1 at the end, I am being served a public page not the one with WP Dashboard.
However, if I open the Chrome Developer’s tools, Disable Cache, and load the same page again, I am able to see the WP Admin Bar.
But as soon as I close the Developer Tools and refresh the page, there is no WP Admin Bar on the site despite being logged in.
CF Cache doesn’t purge automatically upon the article update
Suppose, I wrote about an exam result that is about to be declared. Once the result is out, I added the link to check the same and update the article with a new timestamp which should purge the cache for this particular post from Cloudflare.
But it doesn’t happen most of the time. I have to click “Purge Cache for this page only” to purge the Cloudflare cache and have a fresh copy on the frontend.
Additional HTTP Headers
This one isn’t actually a bug. I love having minimum HTTP headers so, I would like to remove the following HTTP Headers generated by the plugin (if possible):
x-wp-cf-fallback-cache: x-wp-cf-super-cache: x-wp-cf-super-cache-active: x-wp-cf-super-cache-cache-control
The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]
