• This is really starting to wind me up now.

I previously set the update interval to 10 seconds, with a maximum of 200 pages in the cache, which are all my main pages. This worked, but it slowed down the site incredibly, so I switched it to update interval every 30 minutes.

I went to bed last night and pages were caching fine, but when I woke up this morning, I checked again, and they weren’t cached. So I’ve had to go through 200 pages, one by one, and click on them so the cached pages are now returning.

I was under the impression that all pages in the sitemap are cached, then the plugin waits half an hour and does it again, but in that half an hour, users are served the cached page from the previous cache. Is this how it works? Because if that’s the case, there’s something wrong with how it’s working for me.

I’m using basic disk checking as I am on Windows Server. I really don’t want to go back to 10 second intervals, because it’s a pain in the ass.

Can anyone help out with this?

I have tried so many things but pages are just not caching until I click on them.

I have around 150 top level pages, and I click them to make sure they are cached. About 30 minutes later I click again and they are not cached again. Garbage collection is set for a day and reload is set to an hour. I have had to set it back to 10 seconds to make sure cached pages always load, but that slows my server down.
